Travis is based in the firm's Minneapolis office and is admitted to practice before Minnesota and Colorado state courts.
Travis received his B.S. in mechanical engineering and his B.A. in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Travis also received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. While attending law school, he served as an editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy and as a summer law clerk at major law firms in Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is fluent in Spanish. Travis joined Briggs in 2011.
