Terry is Of Counsel in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in our St. Paul office and practices principally in the areas of:
Terry is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Colorado state and federal courts, as well as the 4th and 8th Circuit Courts of Appeal, U.S. Supreme Court, and U.S. Tax Court. He is a former chairman of the Minnesota State Bar Association Probate and Trust Section. Terry is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been selected as a “Leading American Attorney.” He has also been designated a "Super Lawyer" by Minnesota Law & Politics. He is a frequent lecturer on estate planning topics.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Terry received his B.A. cum laude from the University of St. Thomas. He received his law degree cum laude from the University of Minnesota, where he was a member of the Minnesota Law Review and elected to Order of the Coif. Terry joined Briggs in 1964.
