Shannon is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. She is a member of the Financial Institutions and Real Estate Section, and is admitted to practice in Minnesota state and federal courts. She practices principally in the areas of:
Prior to law school, Shannon worked as a business analyst for Target Corporation where she provided financial forecasting and negotiated inventory for Target's Pharmacy–OTC group.
Shannon received her B.A. magna cum laude from Boston College, where she graduated from the communications honors program. She received her law degree cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the law review, Fides et Iustitia. While attending law school, Shannon was on the Dean’s List and was presented with Dean’s Awards for receiving the highest grade in both her legal writing and corporate governance classes.
In the community, Shannon chairs the steering committee of CURE, the American Cancer Society's primary young professional fund-raising group in the Twin Cities. She joined Briggs in 2008.
