Tara Reese Duginske Rejoins Briggs and Morgan

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (Jan. 9, 2015) – Briggs and Morgan, P.A. is pleased to announce the return of associate Tara Reese Duginske to the firm’s Business Litigation Section and Appellate practice group. She rejoins the firm after a year of working as in-house counsel for a Class I railroad.

Duginske represents clients in federal and state courts with respect to a wide variety of matters such as property and personal injury claims, Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA) and railroad defense work, toxic tort litigation, public utility law and employment matters. A significant part of her litigation work has involved representing public utilities in matters involving stray voltage claims and alleged exposure to harmful levels of underground current and representing railroad companies in crossing litigation matters.

Duginske is admitted to practice in Minnesota and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. She received her B.S., with highest honors, from Metropolitan State University and her J.D., magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. During law school, she was an extern for the Honorable Paul A. Magnuson in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Duginske is a member of the Federal, Hennepin County, Ramsey County, and Minnesota State Bar Associations, as well as Minnesota Women Lawyers.
