Julie Firestone to Co-Chair American Bar Association Securities Litigation Committee

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – Briggs and Morgan’s Julie Firestone has been chosen to serve as the co-chair for the Securities Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA). The Securities Litigation Committee serves the ABA’s 60,000-member Section of Litigation, the premier association for lawyers involved in litigation and trial practice.

Firestone is a member of Briggs and Morgan's Business Litigation section and the Financial Markets group. She practices primarily in complex commercial disputes and class actions; securities litigation and arbitration; SEC and FINRA regulatory investigation and enforcement; and shareholder and partnership disputes. Her legal experience includes matters involving securities fraud, breach of contract, common law fraud, RICO, breach of fiduciary duty, suitability, selling away and unauthorized trading. She is a regular contributor of the firm’s financial markets blog, www.financialmarketslaw.com.
