Briggs and Morgan Diversity Committee Hosts Justice Lorie Skjerven Gildea

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – Briggs and Morgan’s Diversity Committee hosted Chief Justice Lorie Skjerven Gildea of the Minnesota Supreme Court at the firm for a presentation to staff on Oct. 20.

Briggs and Morgan assembled the Diversity Committee to emphasize the firm’s respect for the ideals of equity, fairness and opportunity in the legal field, and reflect the importance and value of engaging different perspectives in the profession. The committee helps to provide access to mentorship and professional development programs targeted at women and minority attorneys.

The Diversity Committee sponsors on-site diversity forums for attorneys and staff throughout the year, featuring noted speakers and trainers, to grow and reinforce an inclusive and collaborative working environment.
