MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.  – Briggs and Morgan is pleased to announce attorney Thomas Steichen has joined the firm’s Business Law section. Steichen brings 20 years of practice, focusing on the areas of corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and financial services.

Steichen has experience managing corporate matters, including complex organizational issues and acting as general counsel for both public and private companies. His experience traverses finance and securities, startups, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. His focus is to deliver cost-effective legal representation while achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Steichen uses critical thinking to drive corporate goals and ensure compliance, while minimizing company exposure to risk. He advises clients through their corporate growth both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.

Steichen started his legal career as an associate at Briggs and Morgan before moving to US Bank and Fredrikson & Byron. Most recently, he served as general counsel at a local broker dealer and investment company.
