Kristine Boylan, a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property group, focuses her work on the procurement and protection of rights at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and in federal courts around the country. Kristine is an appointed member of the International Trademark Association's Panel of Neutrals.
Greg Brenny, a member of the firm’s Real Estate group, is a trusted advisor to developers, owners, landlords, tenants, contractors and lenders in the purchase, sale, leasing, development and financing of commercial real estate. Greg is a Certified Real Property Law Specialist.
David Clark, a member of the firm’s Commercial Finance group, represents banks and other financial institutions, investors and borrowers in a wide range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions. David advises financial institutions and corporations in connection with swaps, hedges and other derivative transactions.
Heidi Fessler, a business litigation attorney, leads the firm’s E-Discovery and Information Governance group. She works with clients on a wide variety of matters involving the discovery of electronic data within the context of litigation and investigative matters.
Robert King, leader of the firm’s Plaintiff’s Complex Tort Litigation practice, is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience representing individuals and families in complex personal injury cases in state and federal courts throughout the Midwest.
Pat Mascia, a member of the firm’s Real Estate group, practices principally in the areas of real estate development and leasing; acquisitions, finance and dispositions; zoning and land use law; structured and project finance; and commercial and corporate finance.
Helen Meyer, a member of the Business Litigation section, consults with attorneys on appellate matters and offers alternative dispute resolution services. Before joining Briggs, Helen served as an Associate Supreme Court Justice for the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Paula Stumne, a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice, joins Briggs with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Paula represents clients in the areas of trusts and estates planning and administration, and tax planning.
Justin Weinberg is a member of the firm's Business Law section and focuses his work in the banking, construction and development, and beverage industries. Justin represents clients with both transactional and litigation needs.
Will Barnard, a member of the firm's Business Law section, represents publicly and privately held companies and private equity firms across the U.S. in complex mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, financings, restructurings and other business transactions.
Peter Surdel is a member of the firm's Commercial Finance group and represents clients in the areas of asset-based lending, syndicated credit facilities, traditional commercial lending and commercial real estate lending.
Sara Wenzel Edstrom, an associate in the firm’s Real Estate group, helps clients primarily in the areas of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial real estate development and leasing, and commercial real estate finance.
