Briggs and Morgan Announces New Board of Directors

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. –  Shareholders at Briggs and Morgan, P.A. recently elected the members of its 2018 board of directors, effective immediately:

Weinberg and Asmus are new members of the board and replace outgoing board members Steve Ryan and Matt Slaven.

Weinberg is head of the Real Estate Development practice at Briggs. His construction and development practice includes document drafting, financing litigation, mechanic's lien, development agreements and acquisition, leasing, sale of real estate, and general counsel before, during and after projects. Weinberg also represents banks and institutional lenders in workouts, lender liability litigation and mortgage foreclosures. A frequent lecturer, he presents in public classes as well as private individualized presentations tailored for clients.

Asmus is a member and vice-chair of the Business Litigation section. He represents a broad range of corporate and individual clients in all manners of business and commercial disputes. Asmus primarily defends and prosecutes matters involving banking, real estate, construction, professional malpractice, land use and environmental issues for his clients.

Board members each serve a three-year term.
