MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (October 16, 2019) – Briggs and Morgan welcomes associates Cameron Bliss, Leanna Longley, and Sam Louwagie. All previously worked with Briggs and Morgan as summer associates and will be sworn in to practice in Minnesota on October 25.
Cameron Bliss is an associate in the firm’s Business Litigation section. In law school, Bliss was a member of the Mitchell Hamline Fellows Program, where he graduated summa cum laude. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Hamline University. Before law school, Cameron worked in the television and movie industry.
Leanna Longley is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Business Law section. In law school, Longley was a Mitchell Hamline fellow, an associate editor of volume 44 of the Law Review, and the managing editor of volume 45 of the Law Review. She also worked on asylum cases with Mitchell Hamline’s Immigration Law Clinic and as a law clerk at a Twin Cities firm. Longley earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in history, summa cum laude, from St. Cloud State University.
Sam Louwagie is an associate in the firm’s Employment, Benefits and Labor section. In law school, Louwagie was a law intern at the United States Attorney's Office and for the Honorable Judge Donovan Frank with the District of Minnesota. He was also a staff member on the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Louwagie earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Iowa. Before law school, Louwagie covered crimes and courts as a reporter for a regional newspaper.
