MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. –  Briggs and Morgan is proud to announce it has signed on as the sponsor of the 2017 Cyber Security Summit's Small/Mid-size Business Forum. The Cyber Security Summit, to be held October 24-25, 2017, in Minneapolis, will bring together leaders to discuss the latest trends and techniques in cyber security.

Briggs shareholder, Phil Schenkenberg, assisted in securing the Small/Mid-size Business Forum, a half-day event on Tuesday, October 24, featuring presentations specifically intended for small and middle-market organizations not large enough to have dedicated resources to manage security strategies. At the Forum, Schenkenberg and associate attorney, Cyrus Malek, will be addressing legal questions that our mid-sized clients have about their cybersecurity risk.

The event is an opportunity to learn about best practices for keeping data secure and responding after being compromised. Business owners and their payroll, HR and IT staff are encouraged to attend.

Session topics will be released at a later date.

The Small/Mid-size Business Forum will cover:

  • High-risk behaviors
  • Actions to take right now
  • Legal considerations
  • Insurance options

Please contact Phil Schenkenberg or Cyrus Malek to receive a 10% discount code to register for the Small/Mid-size Business Forum.
