Attorneys Emily Collins and Kristin Emmons Join Briggs and Morgan

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. –  Attorneys Emily Collins and Kristin Emmons have joined Briggs and Morgan as associates.

Emily Collins is an associate in the Business Law section. She earned her law degree with a concentration in business law from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, where she instructed Environmental Law Moot Court and represented the University of Minnesota at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition in 2017. While in law school, she also served as an admissions ambassador, and a law clerk for the Office of Health Information Privacy and Compliance. Collins earned her bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in French studies, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She was a 2016 summer associate at Briggs.

Kristin Emmons is an associate in the Employment, Benefits and Labor section. She earned her law degree with a concentration in business law from the University of Minnesota Law School, magna cum laude, where she served as an admissions ambassador, and was active in the Business Law Association, and the Litigation and Trial Advocacy Group. While in law school, she participated in Intellectual Property Moot Court as a director and competitor, and won the Regional Moot Court Competition in 2017. She earned a bachelor of business administration in management and a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of North Dakota, both summa cum laude, where she was involved in Student Senate, University Senate, and was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and the Phi Beta Lambda organization. Emmons was a 2016 summer associate at Briggs.
