Briggs and Morgan shareholder Bob King has been named a Fellow and inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL).

Fellowship in the IATL is capped at 500 attorneys under the age of 70, limiting the title to attorneys who have achieved a career of excellence through demonstrated skill in jury trials, trials before the court and appellate practice. Fellows are identified by the IATL through an extensive screening process consisting of peer and judicial review in a potential Fellow’s jurisdiction.

Founded in 1954, the IATL serves to recognize prosecutors and defense attorneys in criminal cases, and plaintiffs’ defense counsel in civil litigation. The IATL is an invitation-only group, consisting of Fellows from more than 30 countries, inducted after the thorough screening process.
