MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (July 20, 2010) – Briggs and Morgan, P.A. shareholder and past president Richard G. Mark was named Chair of the Board of Directors for Twin Cities Diversity in Practice. Briggs and Morgan is a founding member of Diversity in Practice, a collaborative consortium of local law firms and corporations committed to advancing diversity within the Twin Cities legal community.
As a founding member of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, Mark has served on its board of directors since its creation five years ago. "It has been an honor to be a part of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice since its inception,” says Mark. “The Twin Cities legal employers who are part of this organization have taken a significant leadership role in advancing diversity in our community. We are dedicated to promoting the Twin Cities as a great place for attorneys of color to develop professionally and personally."
With 22 law firms and 12 corporate legal departments as members, the Minneapolis based Diversity in Practice focuses on attracting, recruiting, advancing and retaining attorneys of color in the Twin Cities legal community.
