MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (Jan. 25, 2011) - Briggs and Morgan associate Michael Wilhelm was featured in The Hennepin Lawyer for his work on obtaining a jury verdict in favor of his client for more than $400,000 in damages for violations of his constitutional rights. Wilhelm is an associate in the Employment, Benefits and Labor Section and practices primarily in the areas of employment and business litigation, labor arbitration and education law. Wilhelm has represented clients in federal and state courts on a variety of matters, including discrimination, harassment, whistleblower and negligence claims. Wilhelm also regularly counsels employers on complex matters such as accommodation of disabilities, FMLA leave, wage and hour matters, and WARN Act compliance.
