Catherine Courtney Discusses Tax Compliance and Disclosure Considerations for Tax Exempt Organizations

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (May 2, 2011) - Briggs and Morgan attorney Catherine J. Courtney will discuss key compliance points and disclosure considerations for tax exempt organizations  arising out of the implementation of the redesigned Form 990 Information Return during a nationally broadcast webinar sponsored by the National Business Institute, entitled “Tax Exempt Organizations from Start to Finish,” on Thursday, May 12.

Courtney is a member of the Public Finance Section and represents clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including municipalities and governments, nonprofit organizations, and banking and financial services. She advises small businesses and nonprofit corporations on general corporate matters and governance issues, and has significant experience working with 501(c)(3) organizations, representing nonprofit, 501(c)(3) borrowers in tax-exempt and conventional financing of multifamily housing, senior housing, skilled nursing facilities, and various community facilities.
