Briggs Shareholder David Schooler Elected to ABOTAPrint PDFShare
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (June 28, 2011) – Briggs and Morgan, P.A. shareholder David A. Schooler was recently inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national, invitation-only organization of lawyers and judges who are recognized for their outstanding trial work and professionalism. With only 181 Minnesota members, ABOTA strives to elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession. Schooler joins Briggs attorneys Sam Hanson and John Degnan who also are members.
Schooler has a proven winning track record in complex employment and business litigation cases with more than 30 first-chair jury trial defense verdicts. He has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and is an elected member of the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. Schooler received his B.A. from St. Olaf College and his J.D. cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law. He served as a law clerk for Magistrate Bernard Becker of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
