Briggs and Morgan shareholder Dave Schooler has been asked to participate in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Masters in Trial. ABOTA is a national, invitation-only organization of lawyers and judges who are recognized for their outstanding trial work and professionalism in the courtroom. ABOTA strives to elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession.

Masters in Trial is a mock trial before a presiding judge and jury—complete with witnesses, experts, courtroom visuals and actual jury deliberations. Schooler is one of 12 trial lawyers participating. The trial will take place in Minneapolis on August 21.

Schooler has a proven winning track record in complex employment and business litigation cases with more than 50 first-chair jury trial defense verdicts. He has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and is an elected member of the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and an ABA Fellow. Schooler received his B.A. from St. Olaf College and his J.D. cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law.
