Briggs and Morgan's Selection as Lead Counsel for New Vikings Stadium Profiled in Finance & Commerce

Briggs recently was profiled in an August 15 Finance & Commerce article regarding its selection as lead counsel for the construction of the new Minnesota Vikings stadium. Chair Brian Wenger and shareholders Mike GrimesSteve Ryan and Paul Tietz will lead the project. Kevin Warren, the Minnesota Vikings' vice president of legal affairs and chief administrative officer, said of the firm,

"That was the impressive thing about Briggs and Morgan. They have a wide range of experience on stadium projects in the Twin Cities. That was very important to us. We could see the work they did on Target Field, and of course we were impressed. They're as good at this kind of thing as any lawyers in the country."

Briggs was chosen from among 16 law firms to support Warren and the stadium development group as they negotiate the many legal issues inherent in a project of this scope.
