MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – Briggs and Morgan announces the successful conclusion of a lengthy arbitration handled on behalf of a privately owned global manufacturer, resulting in a $23.6 million award.

The arbitration, tried before a three-member panel in Minneapolis, involved claims that a product designed and manufactured by a Michigan manufacturing firm—as a component of the client’s product—was defective and consequently led to the failure of thousands of the client’s products.

Briggs and Morgan attorneys Michael H. Streater and Brent R. Lindahl represented the client in arbitration and are credited for the favorable outcome.
