In a recent interview with MinnPost, the Twin Cities' newest daily, Sam Hanson recounts his experiences serving with the Minnesota Supreme Court.

One topic of discussion was the Minneapolis photo cop law, for which Hanson wrote the majority opinion. Having openly expressed his disappointment in not being able to examine privacy issues associated with photo cop, the reporter titled the article "Former State Court Justice Has One Regret."

Hanson also discussed the court process from preparation to oral argument. At 68, he has no plans to retire. He will use his experience with the state's high court to provide added value to new and existing clients of Briggs and Morgan, offering insight into the manner by which judges make their decisions.
