Johnson is an associate in the firm's Commercial Finance section. Before joining Briggs, Johnson was an associate at Helmuth & Johnson, where he represented debtors in bankruptcy cases under chapters 7, 11, and 13 and secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy cases under chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13. Johnson clerked for the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Minnesota and for nearly three years was staff counsel to the Standing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee for the District of Minnesota. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School, Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, and Master of Arts from the University of Michigan.
Vettel is as an associate in the firm’s Business Law section. Prior to joining Briggs and Morgan, Blake was an associate at Sidley Austin, LLP, where he represented clients in the insurance and financial services industry on both buy- and sell-side deals, corporate finance, and state and federal regulatory matters. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
