Weinberg Presenting at Minnesota CLE 2023 Real Estate Institute

Taft Minneapolis partner in charge Justin Weinberg will be speaking in a breakout session and moderating a panel at the 2023 Real Estate Institute. His session, “Taking the Poison Pills Out of Construction Contracts,” is scheduled for Nov. 2, the first day of the two-day conference. Weinberg is also the moderator for a panel on “The Business Aspect of Commercial Real Estate.”

The Real Estate Institute, hosted by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education, is the premier real estate conference in the nation. For more than 30 years, the Real Estate Institute has educated thousands of real estate lawyers and professionals from Minnesota and across the Upper Midwest. There are over 50 session choices at the conference tailored to particular work, interest, and experience levels. Learn more about the 2023 Real Estate Institute or sign up here.

Weinberg serves as outside general counsel to a variety of clients and industries; however, the majority of his work arises from real estate development and construction. In addition, Weinberg serves many clients in the areas of liquor licensing and regulatory issues and hospitality. During the last recession, he shifted his focus to representing banks and institutional lenders in workouts, lender liability, and foreclosures – a practice Weinberg continues to maintain. Weinberg also serves on the board of Minnesota CLE.
