Jolie is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. She is a member of the Business Law Section and practices principally in the areas of:
Jolie’s practice focuses on assisting clients in business matters that include creating and structuring business entities, mergers and acquisitions, project financing, and other corporate transactions. She also represents security issuers, underwriters and dealers in public offerings and private placements. Her clients are from a wide variety of industries, including the manufacturing, energy, food and investment industries.
Jolie practiced previously with an emphasis in complex commercial and real estate litigation, municipal law, and land use. Her diverse body of experience provides unique perspective in helping clients address a multitude of complex legal issues.
Jolie is admitted to practice in Minnesota; the U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota; and Wisconsin. She is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State Bar, and Wisconsin State Bar associations, as well as Minnesota Women Lawyers.
Jolie received her B.A. in political science and economics from Macalaster College and her J.D. cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law, where she was associate editor of the law review. She joined Briggs in 2008.
