International Standards for Protection of Intellectual Property Rights Post-TRIPS: The Search for Consistency
This article analyzes evolving international standards for the protection of intellectual property rights by the use of international investment agreements. The authors examine the multi-layered rubric currently in place in the US and abroad, which builds IP protections into multilateral and bilateral treaties governing investment relationships between developed and developing nations.
