Briggs and Morgan, P.A. is one of 13 Minnesota law firms highlighted in Minnesota Law & Politics’ April/May 2009 issue. Writer Dave Kenney investigates law firm genealogy in the magazine’s “oldest section yet” in an article entitled, “In with the Old.”  Briggs and Morgan is not just one of the oldest, but also one of Minnesota's largest with more than 180 attorneys practicing in various areas of business law and litigation.

Briggs was founded in 1882 and has a rich history of serving clients throughout the Upper Midwest and across the country. In 2007, the firm celebrated its 125-year anniversary. Since its inception, Briggs has enjoyed longstanding representation of several of Minnesota’s most prominent companies. Today, the firm maintains its strong commitment to legal excellence, client service and community involvement.
