Alison Midden and Shehla Tauscher Speak on Donor Control and Charitable Giving

Briggs and Morgan shareholders Alison Midden and Shehla Tauscher delivered a presentation to members of Minnesota Philanthropy Partners titled, “Donor Control and Charitable Giving.” The presentation explored legal limitations on donors’ expectations of control that can be exerted over charitable gifts without creating adverse income tax consequences.

Minnesota Philanthropy Partners is a network of foundations, funds and organizations that share knowledge and services to make charitable giving thrive and benefit all Minnesotans. The organization supports and counsels more than 1,700 affiliates.
