Briggs labor and employment attorneys John C. Hauge and David A. Schooler are featured speakers at the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association’s (MPMA) Management Education Workshop on May 21 entitled, “Labor and Employment Issues in the Current Economy.”

This seminar will discuss the requirements and prohibitions imposed on employers by applicable state and federal statues and regulations, and outline best practices for handling the planning and implementation of cost reduction measures that affect employees. Attendees will gain an understanding of employment law pitfalls when conducting layoffs, furloughs, wage and hour reductions, and plant closures.
