Cyber Security Summit 2013, panel moderator

Briggs and Morgan shareholder Phil Schenkenberg will moderate a panel discussion at the Cyber Security Summit on Tuesday, October 22 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The panel, Increasing Risk Intelligence Up and Down the Enterprise, will discuss how risk management strategies can be better employed to reduce the impact of cyber events.  The panel will explore the reasons why the connection between cyber disruptions and physical repercussions continues to be underestimated, and will help managers better align business activities and assets with the “true risk” of cyber.

Phil serves on the firm’s board of directors, is co-chair of the firm’s Business Litigation Section, and is a member of the firm’s Privacy, Data Security and Cybersecurity group, which offers a full range of services to help clients prevent, prepare for, and minimize the impact of data security breaches and cyber attacks. He also serves as the firm’s Data Security Manager and co-chairs the firm’s Information Security Committee.
