Please join us for Briggs and Morgan’s annual employee benefits update with a focus on retirement and health plans. We will review the retirement plan disclosure rules, the proposed definition of fiduciary, provide an update on the best administrative practices and provide an update on executive compensation issues. The primary focus of this year’s health plan presentation will be legislative and regulatory changes affecting employer group health plans. From health care reform to health plan privacy requirements, nearly every group health plan is affected by new requirements for 2011 and beyond. We will provide an overview of the most significant changes and will let plan sponsors know what they will need to do as they head into renewal negotiations with their providers and open enrollment for their employees. We will also discuss group health plan privacy requirements.
