  • Retirement Plans — Review of recent developments, planning techniques, and what must be done by year-end.
  • Deferred Compensation — A step-by-step approach to compliance with 409A by year-end. Review changes to Minnesota tax laws.


Ira Friedrich is a shareholder and chair of Briggs’ Employee Benefits Group, working primarily in the areas of executive compensation, tax-qualified plans, and welfare benefit plans. He is the author of several articles on employee benefits that have appeared in national trade publications.

Lisa Krantz Wagner is the Wellness Program Coordinator for The KNW Group. She works with clients to design and implement wellness initiatives. Lisa has been working in the Human Services industry for over 15 years and brings a practical approach to wellness programs.

Steve Brunn is an associate in Briggs’ Employee Benefits Group, working primarily in the areas of employee benefits and health care. Steve has over 14 years of employee benefits experience and represents employers in the design, formation, IRS qualification, administration and termination of employee benefit plans.

Andrea Lundahl is an associate in Briggs’ Employee Benefits Group. Andrea counsels employers on a wide range of employee benefit issues, including ERISA and Internal Revenue Code compliance for retirement, health and welfare plans and executive compensation plans.
