Represented a city in the negotiation of a development agreement for a 300-acre mixed used development which included publicly subsidized infrastructure construction and obligated the developer to undertake extensive public park improvements.

The development failed and the developer filed bankruptcy. We represented the city in litigation to enforce their rights under the development agreement and, ultimately, settled the litigation with the lender. As a part of the settlement, a public entity in and for the city purchased the remaining undeveloped property and we are now representing the public entity in connection with the development and sale of that property.
