In her article Dodd-Frank and Shareholder Activism: Synthesizing the Recent Developments, Briggs and Morgan associate Jen Randolph Reise summarizes developments regarding the "say-on-pay" and "proxy access" rules of the Dodd-Frank bill passed in July 2010. Reise discusses the current status and continuing issues of each, as well as their effect on the ongoing debate about how much power shareholders can, and should, wield at public companies. The article was published in Hearsay, a publication of the Minnesota State Bar Association New Lawyers Section (Fall/Winter 2011).
