Legal Administrative Assistant - Minneapolis
Position is available for a regular full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to support three attorneys in the Business Litigation section of Briggs' Minneapolis office.
Requirements include: flexibility; typing speed of 70 wpm; strong MS Word skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; and excellent communication shills. At least two years litigation experience also required.

Docket Clerk - Minneapolis
Position is available for a full-time Docket Clerk to support the patent and trademark prosecution group assigned to the Business Law Section of Briggs' Minneapolis office.
Responsibilities include: reviewing, docketing and forwarding docketed patent correspondence and files to appropriate parties; running docket reports; removing docket dates as appropriate; assisting with maintenance/annuity information; and assisting with the preparation and filing of documents with the USPTO.
Qualified candidates will have at least one year of related experience and general knowledge of IP docketing software.

Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal - St. Paul
Position is available for a full-time Paralegal in the Probate and Estate Planning section of Briggs' St. Paul office. Reduced work hours (25-30 hours/week) will also be considered.
Responsibilities include: assisting attorneys in all aspects of probate and trust administration; drafting and preparation of various court documents; preparation of federal estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns; and conducting legal and tax research.
Qualifications include: bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate; one to five years of paralegal experience specializing in probate, trusts and estate planning; and experience in tax return preparation. Candidates must also possess exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and strong organizational skills and numeric aptitude.

Securities Paralegal - Minneapolis
Position is available for a full-time
Paralegal to work in the Securities area of Briggs' Minneapolis office.
Job responsibilities include : assisting with the preparation of Securities and Exchange Commission filings, including Form 8-Ks, Schedule 13Ds and Section 16 reports, private placements, public offerings, blue sky materials and other corporate finance documents.
