Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal - St. Paul


Position is available for a full-time Paralegal in the Probate and Estate Planning section of Briggs' St. Paul office. Reduced work hours (25-30 hours/week) will also be considered.

Responsibilities include:  assisting attorneys in all aspects of probate and trust administration; drafting and preparation of various court documents; preparation of federal estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns; and conducting legal and tax research.

Qualifications include: bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate; one to frive years of paralegal experience specializing in probate, trusts and estate planning; and experience in tax return preparation. Candidates must also possess exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and strong organizational skills and numeric aptitude.

Securities Paralegal - Minneapolis


Position is available for a full-time Paralegal to work in the Securities area of Briggs' Minneapolis office. Job responsibilities include: assisting with the preparation of Securities and Exchange Commission filings, including Form 8-Ks, Schedule 13Ds and Section 16 reports, private placements, public offerings, blue sky materials and other corporate finance documents. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate and at least two years of experience working in the securities area.
