Briggs and Morgan Welcomes Shareholder Joe Kinning
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association welcomes shareholder Joseph T. Kinning to the firm. Kinning is a member of Briggs’ Business Law Section.

With more than 20 years of experience, Kinning represents publicly and privately held companies across the U.S. in complex mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, financings, restructurings and other business transactions. He has served as lead attorney on a variety of complex public and private transactions including going private tender offers, exchange offers and restructurings. His work includes, representing: both buyers and sellers in middle market mergers and acquisitions; public companies in ongoing compliance with securities regulations; and, securities issuers, underwriters and dealers in public offerings and private placements. He is listed in Minnesota Super Lawyers, as seen in Minnesota Law & Politics.
Kinning received his B.A. in economics from the University of Minnesota and his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. Kinning is admitted to practice in Minnesota and New York and is a member of the Minnesota and New York state bar associations.
