Summary

Peter is an associate in the firm’s Energy Practice Group, where he focuses on energy law and public utility regulation matters.

Before joining Taft, Peter served as an assistant attorney general with the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he primarily focused on energy industry and public utility regulatory matters before the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission, which included public utility rate cases, certificate of need proceedings, affiliated interest filings, and other regulatory matters. After law school, Peter was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jonathan N. Jasper in the Tenth Judicial District.

Peter earned his J.D. cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While in law school, he served as an associate editor and as the operations editor of the Hamline Law Review. He earned a B.A. in economics from Miami University.
