Sara Wenzel is a member of the Financial Institutions and Real Estate section. She practices primarily in the areas of:
- Real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Commercial real estate development and leasing
- Commercial real estate finance
In addition to these practice areas, Sara has significant experience representing individuals, commercial entities, design professionals, and construction industry clients in a variety of litigation matters, including construction defect actions, mechanic’s lien foreclosures and eminent domain proceedings. She also has experience initiating and defending against professional negligence and breach of contract claims.
While in law school, Sara served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael J. Davis, U.S. District Court, and as a co-chair of the Economic Development and Affordable Housing Association. Sara continues to be involved at William Mitchell College of Law as an adjunct professor. Most recently, she assisted in teaching an extended academic preparation workshop for incoming law students.
Prior to attending law school, Sara worked as a project coordinator and project manager in the information technology industry.
