Overview

Patrick Persons is a paralegal and licensed investigator for the Business Litigation section.

Patrick has 33 years of experience focused on complex personal injury cases in state and federal courts. From early case assessment and investigation through discovery, and motion practice to trial, Patrick conducts and manages the collection and processing of information and documents to meet discovery obligations and effectively present evidence at trial.

Patrick manages investigations through locating witnesses and witness interviews, and provides the firm with background and asset searches on potential witnesses and adverse parties. He works closely with both lay and expert witnesses in preparation for testimony at deposition or trial, and utilizes electronic evidence presentation software in jury trials. Patrick has extensive trial experience which includes state and federal jury trials in Minnesota, as well as Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, Texas and North Carolina.

Patrick is also a lecturer in areas of medical negligence, products liability and trial practice.

Patrick received his B.A. from St. Cloud State University and his paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
