Matt Brodin is a member of the Business Litigation and Energy sections and practices principally in the areas of:

  • Business litigation
  • Labor and employment
  • Railroad and airline litigation
  • Collective bargaining
  • Breach of contract disputes
  • Toxic torts
  • Class action disputes

Matt represents clients ranging from small business owners to large businesses in a variety of areas including commercial disputes, employment matters, shareholder disputes, general business litigation and collective bargaining. Matt’s litigation work has involved disputes involving toxic torts, regulatory compliance, complex contracts, intellectual property, non-compete agreements, fraud, discrimination and other employment matters. Additionally, Matt has experience representing airlines in employment and contract disputes, Railway Labor Act litigation and collective bargaining. 

Prior to attending law school, Matt worked for Northwest Airlines as both a financial analyst and an industrial engineer. While in law school, he traveled abroad to the Netherlands to study international law. He also was a member of the staff of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science and Technology.
