Lauren Pockl is a member of the Energy section.
She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota, where she captained the softball team, and her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, summa cum laude, where she was a member of the William Mitchell Law Review. While attending law school, Lauren was a judicial extern for the Honorable Tony N. Leung of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, an intern at the United States Attorney’s Office and was the executive director of the William Mitchell Self-Help Clinic.
Lauren was a summer associate at Briggs in 2013 and joined the firm after a clerkship with Judge Margaret H. Chutich, Judge Matthew E. Johnson and Judge John R. Rodenberg at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Prior to law school, she taught English in South Korea.
